Physical Therapy Concept

Project Overview

Snake River Physical Therapy is a concept website created for a modern, patient-focused physical therapy clinic. The goal was to design a calm, trustworthy digital experience that helps visitors feel supported, informed, and confident — while making it easy to understand services, verify insurance, and request an appointment.

The site was designed to feel professional without being clinical, and welcoming without feeling casual. The experience prioritizes clarity, emotional comfort, and ease of use across both desktop and mobile.

This project included UX strategy, content creation, visual design, and development in Wix Studio.

 

Goals

The main goals for this project were:

• Create a calm, professional brand feel appropriate for a healthcare service
   

• Build trust quickly through tone, layout, and visual choices
   

• Clearly explain services and conditions without overwhelming visitors
   

• Reduce friction around insurance, referrals, and booking
   

• Design a mobile-first experience that feels natural and easy to use
   

• Guide visitors toward scheduling without pressure or urgency
   

The site needed to feel safe, clear, and human — not corporate, salesy, or intimidating.

My Approach

I designed the experience around emotional comfort, clarity, and gentle guidance. Rather than relying on aggressive calls to action or dense medical language, the structure walks visitors through the experience in a calm, supportive flow:

• A hero section that establishes trust and the core promise of care
   

• A conditions section to help visitors self-identify
   

• A services section to explain how the clinic helps
   

• A “Why Choose Us” section to build confidence and differentiation
   

• Clear paths to verify insurance or request an appointment
   

Design decisions focused on restraint and readability:

• Soft, cool color tones to create a calming visual environment
   

• Generous spacing to reduce cognitive load and visual stress
   

• Simple, direct language to make healthcare feel more approachable
   

• Realistic, editorial-style imagery to feel human and relatable
   

• Mobile layouts designed specifically for thumb-friendly scrolling and tap targets
   

The copy was written to feel supportive and informative — confident, but never sales-driven — so visitors feel guided, not pushed.

The Result

The final result is a calm, professional, and conversion-ready website that makes a healthcare service feel approachable, human, and clear.

The site communicates:

• Trust and professionalism without feeling institutional
   

• Clear expectations around services, insurance, and the booking process
   

• Emotional reassurance for people who may be in pain or uncertain
   

• A strong sense of care philosophy and values
   

While this is a concept project, the outcome demonstrates how thoughtful UX, tone, and structure can reshape a healthcare experience — turning something that often feels stressful into something that feels calm, supportive, and easy to navigate.
