Hair Stylist Concept

Project Overview
Styled by Nikki is a concept website created for a solo hair stylist with a soft, luxury brand direction. The goal was to design a calm, refined one-page website that feels personal, elevated, and easy to use — while guiding visitors naturally toward booking an appointment.

The project included UX strategy, design, content creation, and development in Wix Studio.

Goals
The main goals for the project were:
 

• Create a premium but approachable brand feel
   

• Keep the site simple, clear, and focused
   

• Highlight results while preserving client privacy
   

• Make the mobile experience effortless
   

• Encourage visitors to book without feeling pressured
   

The site needed to feel welcoming and trustworthy, not trendy or overwhelming.

My Approach
I designed the site around clarity, emotional tone, and flow.

The structure was intentionally simple and linear:
 

• A hero section to establish the brand and primary action
   

• A services section for quick clarity
   

• A transformations section to visually demonstrate quality
   

• An about section to build trust
   

• A booking section as a clear next step
   

Design choices focused on restraint and consistency:
 

• Soft, neutral colors and generous spacing to create a calm feel
   

• Editorial-style typography for an elevated tone
   

• Back-of-head transformation imagery to focus on results and maintain privacy
   

• A mobile-first layout that stacks content naturally and keeps each section readable
   

Rather than over-designing, the focus was on guiding the visitor smoothly from discovery to decision.

The Result
The final site is a clean, calm, and conversion-focused one-page experience that reflects the stylist’s brand and values.

It feels:

• Professional without being corporate
   

• Luxurious without being intimidating
   

• Personal without being informal
   

The site clearly communicates the service offering, builds trust through visual proof and thoughtful content, and makes it easy for visitors to take the next step.
This project demonstrates my approach to building simple, business-focused websites that support both brand and conversion through clarity and intentional design.
